This year is Nordic Library Weeks 15th anniversary and the theme is “Humour in the Nordic countries”. Danish author Jakob Martin Strid´s and Finnish author Mikael Niemi´s work has been chosen for the event.
Jakob Martin Strid is a Danish comic book author. He´s book “Mustafa´s Kiosk” includes 17 verses, which meaning is to teach tolerance to children.
According to the tradition the event will start with a Monday morning reading. This year can be considered record-breaking, because some pieces of writings will be read aloud in more than two thousand places at the same time.
